Château L’Isle Fort’s Cuvée précieuse is a structured wine based on the aromatic richness imparted to it by its place of production without artifices.
Soil – Clay-limestone Vinification – The vinification of this wine is supervised by the renowned Bordeaux consultant-oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt, who shares the environmental sensitivities of the owners of Château L’Isle Fort, Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet.
Alcoholic fermentation in concrete tanks Fermentation time: 21 to 28 days Malolactic fermentation in some barrels
Aging is done 100% in wooden barrels, in separate batches until the final blend Duration: 12 to 14 months with an average production of 10,000 bottles Coopers: 40% Taransaud, 15% Ana Selection, 15% Saury, 10% Vicard, 10% Seguin Moreau, 5% Darnajaou, 5% Demptos
